Peacock beanie :) I had a friend ask if i could make her one to get ready for the winter. Not that winter in Texas is going to really cold anyway! She wanted it in peacock colors, i think i got pretty close.
Side view, of course you can see the wreath in the background <3.
I finally got around to painting James's letters. I decided to go with stripes since i did Judes in polka dots. hmm i think they turned out really good. They are now hanging right above his crib.
Yee haw, Judes grandpa suprised him with this the other day. And he just lovesssssssss it! oh AND it is hand made, perfect for this blog. He bought it back in our home town. A big ol country town from a lady who makes them. And look it even has yarn for the mane. ahhh im just so much in aww at this. people have so much talent.
Another picture
Alrighty folks, ill be back soon. I have two projects almost finished and a few more in mind. Untill next time........ <3

I am currently in the process of making one for my one month old. i got the pattern from this site if anyone is interested... http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/2008/11/hexagon-crochet.html
Another picture, just chillin on the end of the crib, it looks so cute hanging there.
I used rows of 5 and 6, you can make it any size really. After i make one for my other son, i plan on making a larger one for me and the hubby. i would love to know what ppl think and to see the ones you make as well.

Baby Fever
Another star blanket. Made with light pink and yellow. Great for a little baby girl. I made this for a coworker who is pregnant with a wee little one.
An up close picture
I like how the border turned out. I got this pattern from hobby lobby but i also found a link on Ravelry that has the same pattern. Here it is, hope you enjoy :) http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/star-blanket-754 ive done quite a few of these, and i know i ve enjoyed every minute.
I have had this for almost two years, its a cowboy baby quilt made for Jude when he was first born by his daddys aunt (i think that would make it his aunt too but i dont know)
Its so beautiful, i wish i was good with a sewing machine. Ive tried sewing before but was never really happy with the outcome and gave up:(
This is the other side of the quilt, what do you think? I just love it <3
I told my sister i would make her something for a long time and never did so i decided to finally do so. She asked for a purse with long straps. I think i got it right!!
The colors are alternating blueish and orangeish wool blend. Its actually pretty soft for a wool blend.
You cant really tell from far away but ive added a flower with a cute little blue button
Ive also added a coin purse think-a-ma-bob. I got it off a pair of shorts i bought a while back.... thought i could recycle it somehow!!!
I made one strap in blue and the other in orange, and instead of joining the straps i made them seperate that way if my sister wanted, she could make the straps as short or as long as she wanted.
I actually got this pattern from a link off ravelry... kinda changed it up a bit for my liking and added the flower and of course the coin purse thing-a-ma-bob :) here is the link http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/take-along-tote-archived. I would love to see pics if anyone ever made this.
Alright guys i guess im gone for now. I already have a couple f projects im working on right now so ill be back soon.

Kitty Katt
Aww look at my kitty cat, and look at those wiskers :)):)) Chillin with me on the computer
yupo i do believe he will be keeping me good company <#
<3
So i had a bunch of scrap yarn... i decided to make a small kitchen rug
isnt it awesome!!! i just love the colors, they go so well together and the black just ties everything together
it kinda got fluffed up in the center, i dont know how to make it go down. i used my own pattern so i dont even know if i did it right. I kinda want to make a very much larger one. if i do ill have to look up a pattern so it doesnt do this. still very beautiful though.
Alright, i have five weeks before im supposed to give birth.. im hoping its a bit sooner than that, hopefully ill have more on before little James gets here.

Tie Blankies and Trivets
Hey Folks!!! I made a Tie blanket for my unborn son James, i was actually looking for a winnie the pooh print to match his crib but i came across this instead. I just love the little animals. Its super soft too, i can't wait for James to be able to use it.
The other side is just a plain solid light blue, goes great together.
Doesn't it just look beautiful hanging off the side of the crib? :)
Okid Dokie this blanket is old. Not that old maybe like 10 years im not exactly sure. Its a tie blanket made by Wes's (my husband) Aunt. She is really into crafts too, not crochet but lots of other stuff. Since ive been with my husband for a little over three years weve had it on the back of our couch only to be taken off during movie time. ITS COMFORTABLE. Thank you Aunt tracy
Trivets!!! I got this pattern from ravelry, here it is if you want to give it a try. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/spring-trivets
Look at them doing their job
I like them better hanging in my kitchen :)))
