Mardi Gras!!!!

So guess what??? I had no idea it was Mardi Gras til the day before and i still would of have no idea if everyone of Facebook wasnt writing a million things about it... Plus i had a request from a friend to make him a mask... so i looked up a pattern and got to work. Here is the link http://web.archive.org/web/20010710000206/members.aol.com/lffunt/mask.html
I wish i could keep it :(  i feel like a ninja turtle
I found out Thursday that i am having a boy!! I am not 21 weeks pregnant with my second.. thought i would share with yall :))
 This is his male parts
This is the cutest ever... his feet
Blast from the past... i made this blanket months ago and thought i would share it with you since i didnt have much for this week. I will have more for next week since ill be working mainly night shift.. I need to get back in the groove of things since so many things are changing right now. Just got a job and about to have another baby... whoa. I got this pattern from Hobby Lobby, one of the free ones hanging on the wall.
 Here is another picture
I really like the colors in this one. I made this one months ago as well, it was given away as a gift
I was in a star mood for a while there, i made this pillow actually for my son, he loves it. Sometimes he takes it to daycare :) I love him <3 This is my own pattern
I try to get him to pose for the picture and dont you think he did a good job? He is my little cutie pie. Never mind the wet shirt though, you know how kids are.
This one was really fun to make.... about twice the size of the other blankets (the others were baby blankets) I made this one for my aunt who is a big Dallas Cowboys fan!!! I just love it.

Ok ill be back next sunday with more goodies, my cousin asked me to make her a hat and besides working on my larger projects i got another little one in mind.. see ya

I just love it!!!!
Here i am wearing it as a cowl. I like it this way better, i feel sophistocated. I need a hair cut BAD.
I also tried it on as a hood and it really warms the ears, but the back is wide open so its not very attractive
My favorite blogger blogged!!! Im such a nerd... she made a scarf like this and i knew i just had to make it too. I love it when she leaves patterns. Here is a link to her blog http://dawndavis.blogspot.com/ and also here is the page she got the pattern from if you decide to make it as well http://1craftyboy.wordpress.com/2007/12/11/okey-dokey/

Valentine Scarf

My Valentine Scarf!!!  I used the  yarn YARN BEE, WHIMSY BULKY color SPRING BLOSSOMS. It took me two skeins to finish this with a little, i should say barely any left over, at $5.39 a skein. I couldn't resist, i just love the colors, they also have more colors in this collection that are just as pretty.
Do you like the little hearts? I just sewed them on using gold trim i found on sale at hobby lobby for a dollar. I had to buy a big ol' yarn needle though, but it all worked out because i just love it.
I just love these colors, i think the gold makes it. It brings everything out, and makes it more adult looking rather than a kids scarf... what do you think?
Another picture showing the length <3

Owlies, Beanie, and Pineapple Squares

SOOOO can i ask you a question? Do you like my valentine owlies???? :D i love them. I love the heart eyes <3. I got the idea from one of my favorite bloggers Dawn Sparks. Here is the link to her blog. http://dawndavis.blogspot.com/ Im not going to lie, she has the coolest blog ever!!! And on top of that she inspires me :) I hope your reading this and you like my owlies because i give you 100% credit.
Here they are all in a row, they like to hang out up on my bar.
The purple mixed one lookes like he was having some attitude
Chilling out and talking about the weather, its been a really pretty winter here in Texas!!
My uncle asked me to make my aunt a pink and purple beanie, and since i had some scrap yarn i decided WHY NOT?
AWWW the little pom pom on the end is sooo cute, i really think she will like this. Perfect beanie to wear on Valentines Day
This is called a pineapple square, i got the pattern out of an old Crochet World magazine i found stuffed in my closet. I didnt do a perfect job but i really like how it turned out. You have to be really picky to notice my mistakes... and who cares anyway mistakes means it was home made from the heart!!
I used pink and maroon sparkle yarn, i really love these two colors together, im going to make 18 more plus the two i already made to turn it into a throw. If you want to find these colors i used the brand I LOVE THIS YARN and i got it from HOBBY LOBBY
OH and it took my like two hours to make the dirst square and 1.5 hours to make the second, i think the time will shorten as i get more used to making them. Granted i didnt acutally time myself... so i could be exagerating HMMMMM....
A close up of the sparkles, i just love it, Yall have a nice day ill be back soon.
